Elevate your concert series with the spellbinding sound of Son á Trois, a dynamic, all-BIPOC-artist trio showcasing the talents of flutist Ráyo Furuta, cellist Christine Lamprea, and pianist Gwendolyn Mok. Stay tuned for their highly anticipated debut album in 2024.
Programs can include trio masterworks by Mendelssohn, Debussy, Haydn, Weber, and Ravel, as well as contemporary composers including Gabriela Lena Frank and Jake Heggie.

As Furuta is widely regarded as Carol Wincenc's prodigy, the duo brings an awe-inspiring power and depth to their performances as testament to the enduring beauty of mentorship and the legacy it bestows upon the world of music.
The Burkart Duo both exclusively perform on Burkart Flutes and team teache annually at San José State University’s Summer Flute Institute and La Mélodieuse Festival in Provence, France.
